Playstation 3 Error 80710102 -- feedback?

I've been getting a large number of hits from people who are looking to solve the "Error 80710102" problem with the PS3 while trying to get it up and running online.

I'm just wondering -- has my advice helped? I haven't gotten any feedback on it. I'd love someone to post a comment, positive, negative, or otherwise, just to let me know if my little solution is working.
